Carbonit CITO-QC Classic under-sink filter
Application area
The Carbonit Cito-QC is a standard filter device with a Quick Connect (QC) quick-change system for fast and easy replacement of filter cartridges when branching from the water line. For water filtration in the kitchen to produce purified drinking water, even with high lead and copper concentrations. By using the Carbonit NFP Premium filter cartridge, very high adsorption performance and bacterial safety are combined.
Description
The filter device is installed under the sink, a faucet is not included.
Quick Connect (QC) quick-change system:
The filter housing (from the QC lid downward) is removed from the permanently installed QC head by turning "open". The filter change is then carried out separately in the sink.
Reinstallation of the filter housing is done by axial insertion and a "close" turn.
The water filter is installed branching off from the cold-water line (after the angle valve). Since only part of the water (for drinking purposes, etc.) is filtered and taken separately, this extends the service life of the filter cartridge.
Alternatively, you can connect any of the available fittings (faucets) to the outlet hose (with 3/8" union nut).
Dimensions

Usage notes
· Main CITO-QC kit for branching from the water line.
· If the filter cartridge clogs prematurely (function-related when fine particles occur in the unfiltered water), a pre-filtration with VFS09/... preferably with 1µm filter fineness is recommended. You will need a second filter housing for this. You can use the VARIO-HP pre-filter kit (see VARIO-HP device group)
Filter cartridges
1 x Carbonit activated carbon monoblock NFP Premium-9
Maintenance and filter replacement
A service life of 6 months is recommended across Europe. This takes into account the specifications of DIN 1988 as well as the epdwa guidelines, HKI recommendations, and findings of various DIN standards (NAL LH/AK HW 0029) and DIN EN 14898 as well as the DVGW worksheet W 513.
Filter cartridges are wear parts, so we also recommend replacing the filter every 6 months!
