The universal filter unit is designed for installation under the sink. A water tap is not included but can easily be ordered in the
Faucets category. A three-way faucet is recommended for practical reasons.
Quick Connect (QC) quick-change system of the CITO water filter
The filter housing (from QC lid downward) is removed from the fixed QC head by turning to "open". The filter change is then carried out separately in the sink.
Reinstallation of the filter housing is done by axial insertion and turning to "close".
The device is installed branching from the cold water line (after the angle valve). Since only part of the water (for drinking purposes, etc.) is filtered and drawn separately, this extends the service life of the filter cartridge. You can alternatively connect any available water tap to the outlet hose (with 3/8" union nut).

Usage notes Cito
The CITO-QC universal water filter is designed for branching from the water line.
In the case of premature clogging of the IFP filter cartridge (function-related when fine particles appear in the unfiltered water), pre-filtration with Carbonit
VFS 09/... preferably with 1 µm filter fineness is recommended. You will need a second filter housing for this. You can use the VARIO-HP pre-filter kit.
