Product Information "Carbonit Countertop Filter SANUNO Inox F"
Carbonit stainless steel countertop water filter INOX F with NFP Premium activated carbon block filter
Very well suited for preparing beverages, cooking water, etc. The filter is usually mounted on the kitchen faucet. For this purpose, the special diverter valve is screwed onto the outlet instead of the aerator. When the lever on it is operated, the tap water flows through the filter and exits from the separate filter outlet for dispensing.
An adapter for faucets with internal thread M24x1 as well as an NFP Premium filter cartridge are included in the scope of delivery.

Filter Performance
The filter cartridge determines the quality of the filtered water. For this reason, we select only high-quality block filters that are manufactured in Germany and offer excellent and reliable quality. All block filters we offer use activated carbon as the medium, whose performance is scientifically recognized and excellently suited for filtering tap water.
The high-quality activated carbon is specially activated and processed into a solid block in a complex sintering process. The working principle and performance of activated carbon are described in detail in the product information "Filter performance of activated carbon".
Tap water can contain many particles, substances, and organisms that a high-quality activated carbon filter can retain:
Particles and suspended matter
Asbestos fibers
Bacteria
Parasites such as Giardia
Organic compounds
Pesticides & pesticide residues
Pharmaceutical residues
Lead
Copper
Chlorine & chlorine by-products
Mechanical filtration works like a sieve
The mechanical retention of activated carbon block filters is based on their fine filtration. They retain all particles larger than their pores and channels. For example: bacteria, cryptosporidium (single-celled parasites), giardia (intestinal parasites), suspended matter, microplastics, sand, rust particles, and asbestos fibers.
Catalytic filtration works through conversion. The catalytic effect is a special property of activated carbon and removes, among others, chlorine and chlorine compounds (CFCs, HCFCs). Adsorptive filtration works through absorption.
The adsorptive effect (the ability to bind substances on the surface) of activated carbon removes inorganic and organic substances that are smaller than the pores and channels. For example: lead, copper, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, hormone residues, pharmaceutical residues, and odor- and taste-disturbing substances.
