Application Area

Chemical limescale treatment via ion exchange – this process actually removes limescale (including total hardness). Two-cartridge under-sink system for serial water post-treatment, e.g., in the kitchen or bathroom. Carbonit DUO Limescale is used when additional reduction of water hardness is desired.

Description

Ready-to-install filter units for installation under the sink. The individual components are tested according to DVGW guidelines and DIN EN 14898 and made of food-safe materials. All housing materials comply with KTW recommendations and positive lists through high-quality plastics (head & locking nut: POM Hostaform C 2571, housing: Grilamid TR 90). Safety tests for pressure resistance comply with DIN 19632, DIN 14898 and GSO 481.1.022. Although usage is only permitted in the PN 10 pressure range, the tested burst pressure is nearly 90 bar.

Scope of Delivery

Complete filter unit with extensive installation material (T-piece, shut-off ball valve, flexible hoses, fittings, quick couplings, seals). The DUO Limescale unit includes an IK refill cartridge (IK NF2) with granulate (GH) and a CARBONIT® Monoblock NFP Premium filter cartridge.
