Carbonit EM Premium 5
The Carbonit EM Premium 5 is the first activated carbon filter cartridge with integrated EM ceramics for revitalization and harmonization. EM stands for Effective Microorganisms. For the production of EM ceramic, a special fired clay is used that contains organic material from plants that are millions of years old and serve as nourishment for the Effective Microorganisms (EM) during the months-long fermentation process. EM ceramic helps reduce the surface tension of the water and decrease cluster structures.
This restores the natural state of the water.
The EM ceramic is incorporated into the filter cartridge during manufacturing as a powder that is "baked in." This creates a very large contact surface with the water. Together with the proven filtration performance of the Carbonit NFP Premium filter technology, the ideal water filtration is achieved. Carbon block filter cartridge with integrated EM ceramic. The Carbonit EM Premium is not suitable for combination with a water vortex device due to its high filtration performance but can be easily installed in all Carbonit and Alvito water filters.
The Carbonit EM Premium is not suitable for use with a water vortex device due to its relatively low flow rate. The
Carbonit EM Premium filter cartridge fits all common Alvito and Carbonit water filters and can therefore be used across brands. For use, such a
water filter must be ordered so the filter cartridge can be inserted into it.
Performance EM Filter Cartridge
This sintered activated carbon block from Carbonit focuses on the chemical-physical removal of unwanted substances in drinking water, for example due to influences from the household installation, and offers high protection against bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, polar pesticides, and pharmaceutical residues. This activated carbon block filter combines the well-known adsorptive properties of sintered activated carbon (e.g. pesticides) with mechanical filtration (e.g. bacteria). The EM PREMIUM combines water filtration with physical water revitalization.

Maintenance and Replacement EM
A service life of 6 months is recommended across Europe. In addition to the requirements of DIN 1988, the epdwa guidelines, HKI recommendations, and the findings of various DIN specifications (NAL LH/AK HW 0029) and DIN EN 14898 as well as the DVGW worksheet W 513 must be considered. Filter cartridges are wear parts, so we also recommend replacing your filter every 6 months!
