Application Area Vario Nitrate
Carbonit Vario-HP Nitrate under-sink water filter is designed for water filtration in cases of high nitrate levels. When used with a nitrate filter cartridge, it produces purified drinking water. The filter is very well suited for preparing beverages, cooking water, etc. Filtering with the Vario Nitrate filter system also noticeably improves and enhances the taste of your water.
Water Filter Description
The Carbonit Vario-HP Nitrate under-sink water filter is intended for installation under the sink. The Carbonit VARIO-HP Nitrate is equipped with quick couplings on the filter housing. For further improvement of the filter unit, an
armature can be additionally ordered. If you install the filter as delivered, all cold water will be filtered. By installing a three-way faucet, you can differentiate between hot, cold, and filtered water. A water vortexer can also be added to the Vario Nitrate filter to further improve water quality and taste, bringing your tap water close to spring water level.

Performance Nitrate Filter Cartridge
The flow rate through the nitrate filter cartridge should be limited to 1 liter per minute, as a higher flow rate reduces filter performance.

Use only with cold water

nitrate ion exchange resin should be replaced every 6 months according to hygiene regulations

Nitrate Filter Cartridge
The nitrate filter cartridge consists of two components. First, the Carbonit IK refill cartridge NF2, which is installed in the Vario. Second, the nitrate ion exchange resin for nitrate reduction, which must be filled into the refill cartridge and should be replaced every 6 months. The water flowing through the ion exchange resin is filtered and freed from its nitrate content, significantly reducing the nitrate concentration in your drinking water. The filtered nitrate is stored in the resin and not released back into your water.
