Carbonit CITO-QC Undersink Water Filter
The flexible Carbonit CITO-QC undersink drinking water filter offers comfort and a Quick-Connect (QC) system for easy cartridge changes. The CITO-QC is designed as a single-cartridge unit intended mainly for installation under the kitchen sink.It differs from the similarly used Carbonit Vario-HP primarily through its Quickconnect (QC) system and compact exterior design. With a simple twist, the cartridge housing detaches from the QC head. Inlet and outlet automatically close, preventing water leakage. Cartridge replacement can be done easily in the sink. Depending on the configuration, the system is available as a complete installation kit:
- for branching off the cold-water line (for separate drinking water output) or for reintegration into the water line (to filter all cold water) to your existing faucet
- with or without a separate drinking water faucet (see faucets)

The CITO-QC technology remains hidden under the sink. It can also be combined with a water swirler, depending on cartridge performance.
Carbonit CITO-QC Undersink Filter
The Carbonit CITO-QC undersink filter is typically installed below the kitchen sink. Either as a branch between the cold-water angle valve and faucet (CITO-QC Classic), which requires a separate faucet or a 3-way faucet; or inline in the cold-water line (Universal) to filter the entire cold water supply. The different CITO-QC models come equipped with the following filter cartridges:
The Cito Classic includes an NFP Premium cartridge.
The Cito Universal comes with an IFP Puro cartridge.
The Cito Basic gives you free choice of any Carbonit filter cartridge.
This filter can also operate in front of non-pressurized boilers but must be used with cold water only. The CITO-QC filter housing is nearly maintenance-free. During each cartridge replacement (recommended every six months), inspect the unit for damage and clean it using mild detergent and a soft cloth.
All components meet DVGW guidelines and DIN EN 14898 standards, and are made from food-grade materials. All housing parts comply with KTW recommendations and positive lists, using high-quality plastics (PP).
