Faucets for Alvito & Carbonit Water Filters

To perfectly adapt an under-sink filter system to individual needs, Alvito and Carbonit offer a range of separate faucets and 3‑way taps. When choosing your faucet, consider whether you want to equip the system now or later with a water swirler. Some ready-to-install filter systems already include a faucet, while others require you to order one separately.

A 3‑way faucet is the most convenient solution, allowing you to choose between cold, hot, and filtered water. A separate faucet may require drilling an additional hole into the sink but is generally more affordable. We still recommend a 3‑way faucet for its long-term flexibility. Stainless-steel models are particularly durable and resistant to corrosion.

For proper care, only water should run through the faucet. Be cautious with strong cleaning agents, as they can damage the surface or inner components.

Seals, valves, and cartridges are wear parts, especially in areas with high limescale levels. These may need cleaning or replacement. Replacement parts for current models are available on request. If your water contains high limescale levels, we recommend a limescale filter.

Option A: Separate Faucet

A separate faucet may require drilling an additional sink hole if one is not already available. While typically more affordable than 3‑way faucets, many Alvito and Carbonit built‑in filters already include a separate tap. For use with a water swirler, ensure the faucet carries the proper symbol and features an M22 thread.

3‑Way Faucets for Built‑In Filters

3‑way faucets allow convenient connection to under‑sink filters while providing cold, hot, and filtered water from a single unit. With a dedicated lever for filtered water, they help preserve filter cartridge life and offer a compact, user-friendly solution.

When using a water swirler, ensure the faucet features an M22 thread. Inline swirlers are also compatible. Installation is simple, as the faucet fits into the existing sink opening.
