Alvito ABF Duplex SD ® filter cartridge made of activated carbon with high water flow
The Alvito ABF Duplex SD filter cartridge delivers a particularly high water flow of approximately 8 litres per minute. At the same time, it can also filter micro-fine germs and bacteria from your water.
This filter cartridge consists of two successive filter stages in which the water flows through. The first filter stage is an activated carbon monoblock with slightly larger pores and channels compared to the Alvito ABF Primus.
Filter performance
The second filter stage, which is located inside the activated carbon block and consists of a bundle of microfine hollow fibre membranes, ensures filtration down to a fineness of 0.15 μm.
These can retain the finest particles as well as germs and bacteria. The Alvito ABF Duplex SD filter insert is very well suited due to its performance when the water pressure from the pipe is low or when a high water flow rate is sensible, for example with the built-in filter system in the "C" version or when using a water whirler with several swirl stages (VitaVortex® MODUL.Set or CHAKRA.Set).
Structure
The filter insert ABF Duplex SD consists of two successive filter stages. The activated carbon block is followed by a bundle of microfine hollow fibre membranes as the second filter stage.
Due to its design and an absolute pore size of 0.15 µm, the ABF Duplex SD delivers hygienically perfect water at a high flow rate of approx. 7.0 litres per minute. The ABF Duplex SD is ideal when the water pressure from the pipe is low or when a high water flow rate is required,
for example with the built-in filter system in variant "C" or with a multi-stage agitator system.
